Minimum Requirements: Degree in Statistics, computer science, Datascience, statistics and programming, and any related field of study.

Experience: We dont necessarily base competency on previous experience. However, a candidate must pass a face to face interview upon selection. The first phase of face to face interviews will be conducted in July. More communication will be done to specific candidates through their contact information.

As a Research Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing research projects, coordinating data collection and analysis, and ensuring the smooth execution of research activities. Your role will involve collaborating with researchers, stakeholders, and participants to facilitate the research process and achieve project objectives. Key responsibilities include:

1. Coordinating research projects from inception to completion, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of research activities.

2. Collaborating with research team members to develop research protocols, methodologies, and data collection instruments.

3. Managing research timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

4. Coordinating participant recruitment efforts, including outreach, screening, and enrollment, in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Overseeing data collection processes, including data entry, coding, and validation, to ensure accuracy and completeness of research data.

6. Organizing and maintaining research databases, files, and documentation, ensuring data integrity and security.

7. Assisting with data analysis and interpretation, including statistical analysis, visualization, and reporting of research findings.

8. Liaising with external partners, collaborators, and stakeholders, including funding agencies, research institutions, and community organizations.

9. Facilitating communication and collaboration among research team members, ensuring effective coordination and information sharing.

10. Providing administrative support to the research team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and managing correspondence.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong research skills, including experience with research methodologies, data collection techniques, and statistical analysis.

2. Proficiency in statistical software packages such as R, Python, SAS, or SPSS.

3. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

5. Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and analysis.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative research environment.

7. Knowledge of research ethics and regulatory requirements governing research involving human participants.
