As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems and peripherals, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users experiencing hardware, software, or network issues via phone, email, or in person.

2. Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripherals, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

3. Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems, such as system crashes, network connectivity issues, and software compatibility issues.

4. Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and antivirus scans, to ensure the security and performance of IT systems.

5. Assisting with the setup and configuration of network equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.

6. Providing user training and guidance on IT-related topics, such as software applications, cybersecurity best practices, and IT policies and procedures.

7. Documenting IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve support efficiency.

8. Collaborating with other IT staff and departments to resolve complex technical issues and implement IT projects and initiatives.

9. Monitoring IT systems and infrastructure for performance, security, and compliance with IT policies and standards.

10. Staying informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend IT solutions and enhancements.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

2. Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking concepts, and software applications.

3. Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and/or macOS environments.

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

7. Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting technical information and support activities.
