Experience: We dont necessarily base competency on previous experience. However, a candidate must pass a face to face interview upon selection The face to face interviews will be conducted in July. More communication will be done on this to specific candidates

About the job

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the human resources department and assist with various HR-related tasks and initiatives. Your role will involve handling day-to-day HR activities, maintaining records, and assisting employees with inquiries to ensure efficient HR operations. Key responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with recruitment activities, such as posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.

2. Supporting the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and coordinating training sessions.

3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data entry, and benefits enrollment.

4. Assisting with employee relations activities, such as responding to inquiries, resolving minor issues, and escalating more complex matters to HR management.

5. Coordinating HR-related meetings and events, including scheduling, preparing materials, and organizing logistics.

6. Assisting with HR administrative tasks, such as drafting correspondence, updating policies and procedures, and preparing reports.

7. Supporting performance management processes, including tracking performance appraisals, collecting feedback, and updating performance documentation.

8. Assisting with benefits administration, including processing enrollments, changes, and terminations.

9. Providing general support to the HR team and assisting with special projects and initiatives as needed.

10. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and external contacts.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.

5. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
