About the job

As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the human resources function within the organization. Your role will involve assisting with recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and other HR-related activities to ensure a positive work environment and support the organization's strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, including job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

2. Supporting employee relations activities, including resolving employee complaints, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.

3. Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives.

4. Coordinating training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and evaluating training effectiveness.

5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry, and compliance documentation.

6. Assisting with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans.

7. Supporting HR administrative tasks, such as drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and organizing HR-related events.

8. Assisting with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to employee benefits programs.

9. Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and best practices.

10. Staying informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic understanding of human resources principles, practices, and regulations.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.

5. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
