As a Finance Assistant, you will provide support to the finance department by performing various administrative and financial tasks. Your role will involve assisting with financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the finance function. Key responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with the processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reimbursements, in accordance with established procedures and policies.

2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including filing documents, entering data into accounting software, and reconciling accounts.

3. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, under the guidance of senior finance staff.

4. Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and organizing financial data, preparing spreadsheets, and performing basic financial analysis.

5. Responding to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding financial transactions, invoices, and payments.

6. Assisting with the preparation of documentation and schedules for internal and external audits, and providing support as needed during audit procedures.

7. Collaborating with other departments, such as procurement and human resources, to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

8. Providing general administrative support to the finance department, such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.

9. Staying informed about changes in financial regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.

Skill Requirements

2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic office software.

3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
