As a Data Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering, maintaining, and organizing data within the organization's databases and information systems. Your role will involve performing data entry tasks, ensuring data integrity, and supporting data-related processes and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

1. Entering and updating data into databases, spreadsheets, and other data management systems with speed and accuracy.

2. Verifying data accuracy and completeness by reviewing source documents and making necessary corrections or adjustments.

3. Organizing and maintaining electronic and physical files, ensuring proper indexing, labeling, and storage of documents.

4. Performing regular data quality checks to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.

5. Assisting with data validation and verification processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with established standards.

6. Generating reports and extracting data from databases as needed to support operational, analytical, and reporting requirements.

7. Assisting with data analysis tasks, such as summarizing data, creating charts or graphs, and preparing presentations

8. Collaborating with other departments and team members to gather, compile, and analyze data for various projects and initiatives.

9. Following data security protocols and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure confidentiality.

10. Providing general administrative support to the team, such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and assisting with office tasks as needed.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in data entry and data management techniques, with attention to detail and accuracy.

2. Familiarity with database software and spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Access, or Google Sheets.

3. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

5. Adaptability and willingness to learn and use new software tools and systems.
