About the job

As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in various environments, including offices, commercial buildings, or residential properties. Your role will involve performing cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for occupants and visitors. Key responsibilities include:

1. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and/or scrubbing floors, carpets, and other surfaces to remove dirt, dust, stains, and debris.

2. Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.

3. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, and restocking supplies as needed.

4. Emptying trash bins and recycling containers, disposing of waste in designated areas, and replacing liners as necessary.

5. Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to remove smudges, fingerprints, and marks for a clear and streak-free finish.

6. Wiping down surfaces such as desks, countertops, tables, and chairs with disinfectants or cleaning solutions to kill germs and bacteria.

7. Maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and stairwells, ensuring they are free from litter and debris.

8. Reporting any maintenance or repair needs, safety hazards, or cleanliness issues to supervisors or facility managers.

9. Following established cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe cleaning operations.

10.Upholding professional conduct and customer service standards, and representing the cleaning team in a positive and courteous manner at all times.

Skill Requirements

1. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents.

2. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motions, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

3. Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks to achieve high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

4. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

5. Dependability and reliability in attendance and punctuality.

6. Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques, equipment, or procedures.
